Introducing haku Raise
Held on July 23, 2026, this webinar introduced haku Raise through an overview of its new features, an extensive product demonstration, and a live Q&A. The discussion focused on how haku Raise helps nonprofits manage galas and auctions with less manual work and fewer disconnected systems.
haku Raise brings ticketing, guest lists, seating, auctions, payments, communications, and follow-up into the broader haku platform. Organizations can connect gala and auction activity with fundraising, CRM, marketing, peer-to-peer campaigns, e-commerce, and other supporter interactions. This gives nonprofit teams a fuller view of each supporter and more time to engage guests and donors.
Product demonstration
Ted Civetti demonstrated how an organization can manage a gala and auction from preparation through post-event reporting. The walkthrough covered:
- Creating separate ticketed and auction events, then linking them into one connected experience.
- Configuring tickets, VIP tables, sponsorship packages, bidder requirements, bidding formats, notifications, and payment settings.
- Automatically creating bidder profiles and assigning paddle numbers when guests register.
- Building an event website and registration experience through haku’s site-building tools.
- Assigning tickets to guests and collecting details such as dietary requirements.
- Managing attendee records, ticket transfers, guest assignments, check-in status, bidder profiles, and activity histories.
- Sending segmented email and SMS communications before and during the event.
- Building tables and seating arrangements using registration and ticket-package data.
- Checking guests in by name or QR code while updating assignments, paddle numbers, and payment information.
- Supporting digital, staff-entered, silent, live, online, and hybrid bidding.
- Configuring auction items, placing bids, ending bidding by item, processing payments, and managing fulfilment.
- Reviewing ticket revenue, donations, sponsorship impact, bidder behaviour, auction performance, and other event results.
